Pineapple coleslaw

Easy, low cal, low fat and delicious...
(I have a feeling I've alread posted this, but I can't find it...)

Mix: 3/4 C mayonnaise, 3 T vinegar, 3 T sugar (or 3 pkg Splenda)

Pour over:
1 pkg shredded cabbage (or cut your own)
1/2 C crushed pineapple, drained

Things were a big wilder at the Wirig's...but the more frolic, the more fun....although here we see Carson's reaction to putting away the Easter Candy to go to Church!....

Carson's tendency to grumpiness led to Kendra's inspiration to give him an "Angry Birds" birthday party....it is perfect!!!

If you like history and mystery and medicine...you might like this series...unfortunately, this will be the last in the series....Ariana Franklin passed away in January...

This is our book club's selection for this month...I enjoyed it way more than I thought I would...Ani is a much better role model for young woment than Bella (Twilight)...When reading LDS authors I always thinks it's interesting to look for LDS themes...Ani's knowledge that she started out as a Princess (I am a Child of God) even though in her present life she is "only" a Goose Girl gives her the strength to continue acting like a Princess who may one day be a Queen...

I Capture the Castle

This book, published in 1948, was written by Dodie Smith...the author of 101 Dalmations...it's a charming book...I'm amazed I had missed this one. Dodie Smith was a well known playwright in the late 30's....I loved this thought....

...When I read a book, I put in all the imagination I can, so that it is almost like writing the book as well as reading it -- or rather, it is like living it. It makes reading so much more exciting, but I don't suppose many people try to do it. (p.26)

It's Official! Kaity and Alan...

Alan popped the "official" question last week...complete with roses and V-8 juice...they will be married in the Oakland Temple on June 25....prepare for a couple of months of craziness!
