Here's baby Karl (inside the blanket) with Dad, Grampa Gil, and Grampa Walter...four generations of Niemans. Dec, 1969...in front of our (Dean) house in San Jose....2307 Kenwood Ave.
Just for comparison sake....here's Karl, holding Christian, with Dad and Grampa Gil...another 4 generations of Niemans.

Back to Karl... January 1970...his blessing day....Gma Dorothy knit his little white suit and booties.(Grandma Janiece made me the leopard pillows)...this was in our apartment on McAllister St. in San Francisco where we lived while Dad was in dental school (and I was teaching at Woodrow Wilson Jr. High in Oakland)
This is still 1970...in the fall. Karl is about 10 months old. We are inside the Kenwood Ave. house at Gpa Roger's and Gma Janiece's...
This is Karl's 2nd birthday...I made him an elephant cake...Dad and I both have lots more hair than we do now! This is in the kitchen of the McAllister St. apartment.

Here's Karl, about 31/2, in the cute German clothes Dad got in a box of stuff from a postal auction.

Karl's about 4 here...holding a fish caught up at Gpa and Gma Eck's house in Gasquet. Looks kind of like Parker here if you block out the curly hair...
Starting Little League...Kendra was about 3 months old when I started bringing him to practices at the old Loma Vista ball fields on Cowell Rd.
Our back yard before we put the pool in....we "watered" our almond trees...Karl and Mike Busch loved getting "down and dirty"...

Here's Karls first Pinewood Derby...I was the den leader...John was good at building the cars.
1979...Halloween with Kendra...
Helping Dad and Gpa John build the fence around the pool...
Karl, Michael and Kendra...The kids got these shirts when Dad and I got back from our trip to Hawaii with Val and Dick...not the best picture of Karl!
1982...Now David has been added to the family...

I kept on reading hoping you;d say how old Karl is... I guess it kind of makes me a bad brother for not knowing :D
