Kendra made this yesterday afternoon when they were over...It was hard to get a picture before it was all gone! This is the last remaining bit.
"Dump" into a 9x13 pan (I usually use a glass one):
1 (20 oz) crushed pineapple with juice
1 (20 oz) can cherry pie filling
Sprinkle a box of white or yellow cake mix, dry, over the fruit.
Cut a cube of butter into slices and distribute over cake mix.
Bake at 350 about 30 minutes. Good with whipped cream, Cool Whip or ice cream...good all by itself!
Variations: I sometimes sprinkle 1/2 C chopped walnuts over the cake mix. And you can use other pie filling combinations: all cherry, all blueberry.
