1 baked pie shell (Marie Callender's or AllReady Pie Crust works fine)
Prick the raw pie shell well with a fork and weight it down so it doesn't slide down the sides of the pie pan while baking. (I have some foil I squished up in pie pan shapes that I set inside the crust)Anyone looking at this post might wonder how delicious a pie filled with aluminum could be!
Filling:1 pkg. any flavor(usually vanilla or chocolate) instant pudding mix
(6 serving size...originally the recipe used the small box, but the larger one fills the pie better)
1 1/2 C milk
1 1/2 C ice creamMix in a blender or electric mixer and pour immediately into baked crust.
Banana Cream: Slice a banana into the pie shell before filling with vanilla pudding mix
Chocolate Cream: Use chocolate pudding, of course. You could use chocolate ice cream; but vanilla works fine...sometimes I add a couple of tablespoons of Nestles Quik.
Coconut Cream: add 1/2 C coconut to the blended pudding mix. Any other variations?

Let set in refrigerator 5 or 10 minutes; then top with whipped cream or Cool Whip.
